James Di Tomaso, BBA, PFP

James heads Allied Farm Wealth a unique wealth and risk management firm based in Mount Brydges, Ontario. He is  a seasoned veteran in the wealth management industry with over 20 years of experience in the field.  He takes great pride in helping individuals and their families achieve their financial goals through strategic investing and expert tax planning. With a strong focus on delivering tailored, high-quality financial plans, James brings in-depth knowledge developed through two decades working alongside some of the top advisors in London, Windsor and Sarnia as a mutual fund wholesaler.

 A graduate of York University’s Schulich School of Business Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program, James holds multiple industry credentials, including the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation, the Professional Financial Planner (PFP) certificate, completion of the Life License Qualification Program (LLQP), and the Alternative Strategy, Hedge Fund and Liquid Alternative (ASHF) program.

James now brings this experience to a specialized advisory practice with a focus on agricultural clients.  He is passionate about serving farmers and understands the unique financial needs of rural and agribusiness communities.

 James lives with his partner Fernanda on a 13 acre hobby farm in Mount Brydges, where they manage a thriving vegetable garden and chicken coop, with plans to add dairy goats in the near future.  A lifelong learner, James is also an avid reader with a special interest in the history of ancient Rome and the enduring lessons of its republic and empire.

G. Kirk Baines

Allied Farm Wealth

With over 30 years of experience in agricultural tax and financial strategies, Kirk offers family and business owners consultation and strategies to assist with wealth management, as well as life and health risk management. Working closely with clients, and other professionals, Kirk assists with wealth, retirement and estate strategies with product solutions tailored to agricultural producers. As leader of Allied from 1992 to 2025, Kirk built a strong and loyal client base, always prioritizing the needs of his clients. In 2004 Kirk ended the practice of charging sales commissions on any products or services offered at Allied. This has created greater flexibility to manage client money in this everchanging financial landscape and grow their wealth accumulation faster and safer.

Kirk and his wife JoAnne have 3 children, 7 grandchildren, and their dogs Bowie and Annie. They enjoy family time, cooking, walks on the beach and boating. Active in the community, he has been the Board Chair of the Gerald C. Baines Foundation, since 1998. Past Chair of London Health Sciences Foundation (LHSF) and chaired several committees within LHSF. Kirk is a Past Board Member of London Health Sciences Centre (LHSC), Operation Walk Canada, Wellspring London, Children’s Health Foundation, and was a member of the Robarts Research Board Council.

Bella Zhou

Allied Farm Wealth

Bella Zhou began her career in the financial services industry in 2021 as an Investment Advisor Assistant and became CIRO licensed in January 2025. She plays a vital role in supporting both advisors and clients through the delivery of organized, responsive, and detail‑focused financial service.

As an integral member of the Allied Farm Wealth team, Bella provides day‑to‑day financial and administrative support, helping ensure client plans are executed accurately and efficiently. She works closely with advisors to assist with account administration, documentation, follow‑ups, and ongoing service coordination. With a strong commitment to accuracy, organization, and proactive communication, Bella helps maintain a smooth and dependable client experience.

Bella is often the primary point of contact for clients and takes great pride in building trusted relationships. She is dedicated to assisting clients as they work toward their financial goals and ensures they feel supported and well‑informed on their journey toward a confident retirement. Her strong attention to detail and customer‑focused approach help reinforce the high standards of service at Allied Farm Wealth.

Outside of the office, Bella is a proud mother to a three‑year‑old daughter and values time spent with her family. She enjoys cooking and baking, discovering new restaurants, and embracing the outdoors through hiking and camping with her family.
